Nairobi is Kenya’s capital city.
In addition to its urban core, the city has Nairobi National Park, a large game reserve known for breeding endangered black rhinos and home to giraffes, zebras and lions.
Next to it is a well-regarded elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Nairobi is also often used as a jumping-off point for safari trips elsewhere in Kenya
6:00am: Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel/Airport and depart for Nairobi national park half day game drive tour.
6:15am: Enter the Nairobi Park and start your game drive
7:00am: Start with the Ivory burning monument and the savannah grasslands to see lions, gazelles
8:30am: Visit the dry forest to look out for black rhinos and leopards and birds
9:30am: Descend into river Mbagathi looking for crocodiles and hippos view morkoyiet valley.
10:00am: Return to the savannah to find white rhinos, buffalos, giraffes
10:30am: Exit the park for elephant orphanage
11:00am: Learn more about the adopted, orphaned & endangered elephants at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
12:00pm: Exit elephant orphanage for a tour of the giraffe center. Get to know more about the rothschild giraffes, feed them and get a kiss from them.
1:00 pm: Drop Off at pick up point. Your tour ends here.
