Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
Early Morning pick up from your Nairobi hotel / residence or Airport and depart for a 5 hrs drive towards the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa road. Enjoy the beautiful kajiado landscape with possible sightings of wild animals enroute.
Arrive at the park and proceed with game drive enroute to your lodge arriving in good time for check in, lunch then relaxation.
At 4 O'clock head for a game drive with a chance to see elephants, gazelles, warthog, maasai giraffe, impala, baboons and vervet monkeys against the backdrop of Africa's highest mountain- Mount Kilimanjaro.
