Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Pick you up from your hotel in Kampala in the morning for a scenic drive. We will stop for coffee and take photos at the Equator along the way. As we continue, you will pass through villages with cultivated areas until you reach the lush green tea estates in a rich green belt. Soon, we will arrive at the escarpment, where you will be treated to breathtaking, endless views of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Depending on the timing, lunch will be provided either along the way or at the lodge. After checking into the lodge, if time permits, you can go for a walk to explore the nearby village and crater lake. Then, you can spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the view from the lodge.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

An early morning game drive allows you to see various wildlife, including members of the Big Five. We will bring along a picnic breakfast for you to enjoy on the savannah. As we drive along the routes, you may spot elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, warthogs, hyenas and many other species native to the park.

The park also boasts a rich diversity of birdlife, with many colorful birds visible throughout the day. After lunch at the lodge, we will set off for a 3:00pm boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a classic park highlight that lasts two hours. The Kazinga Channel, measuring 36km (22mi) long, connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Along its shores, you will have a great chance of spotting hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, buffalo, elephants and more.

With your binoculars ready, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the birds along the peninsula. After the boat cruise, your guide will drive you back to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, embark on an exciting road trip to Kampala (with lunch en route). You will arrive late in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your homebound flight.
